Okay, but who ARE you?
I’m what is apparently called a wash-ashore. I now live on Cape Cod with my husband, 2 year old daughter, and one on the way, but I didn’t start out here! I’m a born and raised GA girl, although most people tell me I don’t sound like it. (Good thing? Bad thing? Still not sure. ;)) I do indeed love sweet tea, say y’all sometimes, and have had a fun time learning bits of New England culture over the last 4 years.
When I’m not shooting weddings, my days look like making a cappuchino in the morning, reading stories with my littles, exploring beaches in the summer/trying not to freeze in the winter. I work around nap times, I love long walks + listening to podcasts (Crime Junkie fans, where you at?), and I will never say no to a charcuterie board.
My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years now, but known each other for over 10! He’s from NJ, I’m from GA - you could say we met in high school, but it’s definitely an untraditional story. Ask me about it sometime ;) It’s one of my favorites!
Where does photography come in?
Photography has been a love of mine since my early high school days! It started out with a lot of pictures of bugs, siblings, and absolutely anything at golden hour. I graduated high school and jumped right into the start of my business (gasp, no college for me!) while working two other jobs at the same time. Grey’s anatomy was my best friend on late nights learning to run a business.
Fast forward a couple of years, one marriage, one cross country move, a lot of wonderful vendor friends + couples, and here I am!
I’ve been shooting professionally for eight years now and photographing weddings in my passion. My job gives me the unique opportunity to come alongside people in one of the biggest seasons of life, and not only capture their memories, but love on them + celebrate with them! I want to enter into your excitement, hear about how you met, help you in any way I can, and give you incredible, tangible memories that you will have forever. I want you to have FUN on your wedding day, and trust to me to help you remember how you FELT.
