Annie and Peter’s engagement session was my first session since I had our daughter last month – I was SO excited to get back into shooting, not only for the season, but also after such a huge event, and feeling pretty out of it for the first couple of weeks. 😛

We had chatted on the phone a few months ago, and I just knew I was going to love them. They were kind, attentive, thoughtful, and really cute. (see below vvvv) We made plans to meet up at Long Beach on the Cape for their engagement photos…I started to get nervous on Thursday when I saw that it was supposed to storm ALL weekend, but we crossed our fingers and prayed that the rain would hold off. Saturday came around and it was cloudy…but no rain yet. We decided to go for it. On my way to meet them, the SUN started to peek out and I did a happy dance in my car with my iced caramel macchiato to the country music station. (you’re welcome for that mental image.)

We braved the wind, but had the most beautiful glowy evening to spend in one of their favorite places. These two are so sweet together (and in general!) and I’m so excited that I get to see them AGAIN next month except next time Annie will be in a white dress and they’ll be saying “I do”. 😉 <3
